The port of La Rochelle
La Rochelle is a very pretty port town with a magnificent aquarium to visit. La Roche sur Yon is also worth a visit, as is Fontenay le Comte with its chateau.
There are many interesting places to visit, such as Lucon, only 5 minutes drive away, where there are plenty of shops, hypermarkets and restaurants, plus a market on Wednesday and Saturdays.
